2020 - 2021 SEASON

Registrations for 2020 - 2021 Season will be online only

2020 - 2021 Season first competition night is 4th September 2020.

 

To be eligible for registration Athletes must be over 5 years of age and under 17 years of age on 31st December 2020.

 

PROOF OF AGE MUST BE SHOWN WHEN REGISTERING FOR ALL NEW MEMBERS.

DETAILS

Registrations and payments can be done at any time. Please note if you put your child's email address the receipt will be sent to them so it may be advisable to use your email address.

Registration packs and uniforms can be collected from the clubhouse during the sign on weekend.

Trialing athletes – Need to sign up at the Clubhouse on the sign on weekend. Cost to trial is $20 per athlete for 2 week trial and is non refundable.

The trial is for new members only and is available during the month of September only.

Fair Play (formally known as Get Started) – Register on line as a normal registration. Present voucher and your bank details to the club house so a reimbursement to your bank account can be made.

Dual Registration. We are awaiting updates on dual registrations from Queensland Athletics.

To receive your pack you MUST provide the following.

  • Receipt of payment
  • Welcome email
  • Proof of age (new members only)
  • Parent guidelines and duty of care form (see above attachment)
  • Parent help sheet

NO PACKS WILL BE GIVEN WITHOUT THESE 4 ITEMS.

Uniform details

Uniforms can be purchased online and also from the clubhouse. The uniform is COMPULSORY and must be worn at all competitions (including Friday night’s competition).

  • Club competition polo shirt – TBA
  • Black shorts/briefs with logo – TBA
  • Crop tops (U13 – U17 only) – TBA
  • Single tops (U13 – U17 only) – TBA

New style uniform must now be worn.

Pack and fee inclusions

Your registration packs will include:

  • Registration Number, which is to be attached to the front of the uniform shirt.
  • An Age Label, which is to be attached to the bottom left hand hemline of shorts, athletic pants, or on the left sleeve of the uniform shirt.
  • Centre Improvement Sheet to record your weekly results and highlight improvements to enable you to qualify for an Improvement Medal.
  • Raffle book 1 per family
  • Athlete Profile to be completed and placed in the box provided to be eligible for Athlete of the Week

McDonald’s Achievement Award Card. To be downloaded from the Little Athletics Queensland website.

Little Athletics Queensland yearbook. Usually available in November, to be viewed or downloaded from the Little Athletics Queensland website.

Registration Fees Include

  • Membership to Little Athletics Australia
  • Membership to Little Athletics Queensland
  • Membership to Gold Coast Little Athletics Youth Branch Inc.
  • Coaching.
  • Insurance.
  • End of season trophies, certificates and awards
Fees
  • 1st Athlete Registration $160.00.
  • 2nd Athlete – $5 discount
  • For each athlete after the second the fee will be $150 per athlete
  • For each family there is a compulsory $30 raffle
  • Trialing Fee (covers two nights participation) $20.00 for month of September only
  • Additional Age Labels (if lost) $2.00 each
  • Additional Registration numbers (if lost) $2.00 each

In addition to the above, the following fees are payable to Timing Solutions and the provider of the platform service

  • Timing Solutions – $2.20 per athlete
  • Platform service – 2% per transaction plus .30c processing fee

REFUNDS: It is the policy of this Centre NOT to refund any registration fee for whatever reason.

A two (2) week trial period is available for new members only up until 30 September 2019.

The $20.00 trialing fee is non refundable.
