Coaching Times

General Training Times

Club coaching for all Gold Coast Little Athletics Athletes commenced on Wednesday 5th September 2018.

These sessions are held every Wednesday between 4.30pm and 5.30pm and are free to all members. Here the basics skills and principles to all events are introduced. There is also an emphasis on learning the importance of warm up and cool down and basic strength and conditioning.

Squad Training

In addition to the Wednesday sessions, Squad Training is also held for the more serious GCLA and Gold Coast Central athletes and continues throughout he year.

Sprints, and Middle Distance, 10 yrs and up. Venue is subject to change and can be at Pizzey Park, Griffith Uni, Beach or other locations.

Sprints, Middle Distance and Walks 10 yrs and up. Pizzey Park or Beach.

4.00pm

Sprints, Middle distance 10 yrs and up. Sprint hurdles for the more advanced – 4.30pm to 6.00pm Pizzey Park. Walks at Pizzey Park 10 yrs and up

Please note: All venues can change, regular trainees will be aware of any changes. If you are unsure please contact us.

FEE DETAILS

Fees are applicable for squad training and as it is also open to non-members, there is an annual $50 fee per family for non GCLA (Gold Coast Little Athletics) and GCCA (Gold Coast Central Athletics) members which is refundable if joining either Club.
